Guideline for ICASFT 2023 Research Paper

A.   For Authors

1.

The author can submit an article following the category below:

a)         Agrotechnology

b)         Aquaculture

c)         Horticulture

d)         Biotechnology

e)         Halal

f)          Food Science

g)         Food Technology

h)         Green Technology

i)          Education

j)          Industry 4.0

2.

The article may be written in Bahasa or English and all articles submitted for presentation will be published in an e-proceeding.

3.

Authors shall prepare their articles according to the template provided on the ICASFT 2023 website. The article is required to be submitted in MS Word format.

4.

Please ensure that the overall similarity score of your final article is less than 30% using any plagiarism check software (e.g. Turnitin, Grammarly, Quetext, etc.). Submit the originality report with your full article through http://myevent.polisas.edu.my/

5.

The article should not exceed Ten (10) pages including texts, tables/figures and references.

6.

The authors should ensure that the article is an original contribution and has not been previously published (or accepted for publication) in a similar form.

7.

Abstracts must be between 150 – 200 words.

8.

The organizers have the right to cancel any research papers that do not meet the conference or submission requirements without the author's or co-authors' consent.

9.

The first name stated in the articles is the corresponding author.

10.

The best article from the student and researcher paper will get awards.

B.   ARTICLE REVIEW

1.

All submitted research articles will undergo a peer review by at least TWO (2) reviewers.

2.

The blind peer-review process ensures that the author and reviewer remain anonymous during the review process. Expert specialists within the research fields will be selected to perform the reviews.

3.

Authors with minor/major corrections will receive feedback regarding comment(s) and modifications needed.

C.    Online Presentation

1.

The time allocation for each presentation is 15 minutes including Q&A sessions.

2.

The presentation schedule will be uploaded on the official website (http://icafst2023.polisas.edu.my)

3.

Only ONE (1) presenter is allowed to represent their group members.

4.

All presenters must join the online session during the conference day and participate in the Q&A session after the presentation. A certificate will only be issued if the presenter shows up during the online session.

5.

All presenters are invited to the keynote speaker session before the presentation starts.

6.

All presenters ensure that the internet and mic are in good condition during the presentation.

7.

The best presenter from the student and researcher participants will get awards.

8.

All presenters will get an e-certificate.
